The EchoPilot FLS Platinum Engine is a “Black Box” forward looking sonar processor which enables the modern mariner with integrated navigation displays to add a colour forward looking sonar with a minimum of fuss. The system is comprised of a processor unit, a dedicated keypad, transmitter box and a professional transducer with bronze housing. The processor is connected to a compatible chart plotter, radar, P.C or TFT display via S-Video or composite connection lead, the keypad operates the forward looking sonar without the need to use the plotter or radar controls of the display.

With a maximum forward range of 200m, automatic or manual operation and forward audible alarm, full GPS data display, second station repeater option and NMEA data input / output. The FLS Platinum Engine is the culmination of 12 years of research and manufacture experience of forward looking sonar.
