The TMQ AP47 Auto Pilot is a compact unit with the basic features to make it the ideal small boat pilot or as an entry-level pilot.

Specifically designed for boats in the 6m to 12m range, the AP47 , with its ease of operation, simple installation, yet no compromise design concept for performance and reliability, is the ideal pilot for the recreational mariner.

The head unit has a modern ergometric design featuring a large backlit LCD display.

Mode Selection

Manual. Gives steering control back to the helm. The display heads will show the magnetic compass heading.

Auto. The autopilot will maintain the vessel on a desired magnetic course.

GPS. When connected to an NMEA GPS input, the autopilot can steer to a waypoint, or to a series of waypoints. Once the vessel is following a GPS course, the effects of wind and the tide are effectively negated.

The AP47 control unit is built in and provides advanced state of the art technology with exceptional accuracy and reliability.

The AP47 can be integrated into the vessel's navigational system to provide a fully automated package.

An electronic fluxgate compass and standard rudder feedback unit are supplied as part of the system.
