The JQX-30A is a Search And Rescue Radar Transponder (SART), which meets the requirements, set by SOLAS and has been approved for GMDSS. It is indispensable as a survivor-locating device in the event of a disaster or distress. When a signal is sent, the SART transmits a coded response signal to inform the searcher of the survivors’ position through the radar display.

Portable	Operational aboard all ships, life rafts and lifeboats.
Rod Mount	Rod Mount to secure the antenna at a min of 1m height above sea level.
Automatic Response	Automatically transmits the SART code when a 9 GHz signal is received.
Automatic Direction	SART code indicates the location direction and distance on searchers radar.
Rescue Indicator Light	Red lamp light changes from intermittent light to continuous light to inform survivors of the proximity of the rescue craft
Hours of Operation	SART can transmit for more than 8 hours continuously after 96 hr. standby
