Hasp 4 driver causes Blue screen of Death.
Installing or removing hasp4 driver causes computer to crash and reboot. This may happen on installation using TMQ installation program.
Not sure of the cause, but it is due to the driver.
Ensure you have the latest driver from hasp.

1. Restart the computer in Safe mode.
2. Start a command prompt and go to where the hinstall program is. or Type, start, run, cmd. and then type in "cd C:/cplot95/exe/install"
3. hinstall -kp should remove the process, (there should be no process under safe mode anyway)
4. hinstall -r should remove the driver.
5. hinstall -i should install the new driver. Error will appear saying it couldn't start the driver (Safe mode)
6. Restart the computer in Normal mode.
7. C-plot should then detect the HASP Dongle.

Ikey Installation asks you to empty temporary Folder
Per Safenet, as advised by Indian Support Tech
As I understand this could be a installshield specific issue. Which is a Microsoft related issue. Kindly perform the work around for this error:
I would request you to kindly go to the address mentioned below:-
C:Program FilesCommon Files InstallShield Professional Runtime
Try and rename the folder that you see. The folder might be named as "10 or 9 .",
kindly go and rename it to a numeric number, and then see and check the result.

The Simple Fix TMQ Fix is to Rename the Runtime Folder to Runtime_ and restart the installation. This should have no major lasting effect on Install shield as these programs are updated each time Install shield is Run
To do:
go Start, Run, C:/program files/Common Files/InstallShield/Professional
Right Click on Runtime,
Select Rename
At the end, Put an _ so it looks like RunTime_

How do I install the C-map charts for Maxpro
Go to the start menu, click on all programs, go to Jeppensen marine, then to Runtime, then Maxprop chart manager is there.
The other method is via cplot, Main menu, chart, config, C-map.
My computer comes up with the Windows a drive that isn't local Drive C:
No you will not be able to get C-plot to install on this computer. Send it back to where you got it from or Reinstall windows so that C Drive is the primary drive.
Uninstalling Early Versions of C-plot Max which has no uninstaller for the Jeppensen
First ensure that you have no add or remove option for Maxpro Chart manager in the add or remove programs section
Run taskmgr.exe, cntrl alt delete.
Stop the cmapsvc.exe
Start, run, regedit,
Go to hkeylocalmachine/software/
Delete all of C-map
Delete c:/ programfiles / cmap
Go to control panel, add remove programs,
Remove Ikey components, and ikey driver,
Restart the computer.
Reinstall the new cplot issue.
There may be issues with the charts installed, There is no known way to identify. Sometimes uninstalling just the maxpro SDK and removing all charts, then reinstalling the MaxproSDK from CDROM/redist/maxpro.
Windows 7 64 Bit. Version Maxpro 1.2

Windows 7 64 Bit. Early Version Maxpro 1.3

The Environment Values need to point to the correct location for the program files location. Proj_lib, Gdal_data and Path are the environment values to be modified.

However, you must modify these values in the Administrator login.   So it gets even harder.  You will need to start an Admin Command Prompt,  Start, Programs, Accessories, right click on Command prompt,  (select run as administrator). A black box will appear.   Type. net user administrator /active:yes

This should have enabled the administrator account.

Select Log off, and then Log back in.

Modify the environment values.
