The latest versions of C-plot 1.2
Oh wow you say, new versions already for TMQ C-plot, yes there have been some enhancements.
1. using the mass deletion of marks / track / lines / area from the Active files would only affect the file for each type. a check box has been added in to select all save files.
2. We had an issue with some files which had lines going all over the screen at high scales. Ie scales of 3000nm with lines going from china to America and back. This was not good and could cause the computer to slow down or act like it was hanging.
3. Enhanced line drawing at higher scales. Faster drawing for lots of track.
4. Radar Cursor option for the Ccoms is now back.
5. The C-plot splash screen on the start page now tries to stay on top of the target table and ccoms.

Can USR files contain marks in V1.2
There seems to be some uneducated guessing going on, that marks contained within User files no longer get displayed on C-plot. Any information in files for V1.2 Other than Overlay will be displayed. What is this overlay you may ask. Well, in the old software, when you went mark, load, and clicked on the Overlay check box, then loaded the file, it would have been loaded as an overlay. The V1.2 C-plot removes any overlay features, since they should be in files that can be managed and displayed. So, just bring the file you wish to view with those overlayed information up in the chart, manage section and add it to the viewable files.
Information Seems to have dissappeared from my Data File. (Overlay Issue)
Most likely the case is that the data has been loaded at one stage as overlay. Either edit the file with Wordpad and Change all the OXYCS to PXYCS, or just manage the file and bring it to view with the data that has been overlayed.
The home key does not work correctly from a TMQ Keypanel
In some situations the home key may not work properly from a keypress from the TMQ Keypanel. We are looking to rectify this situation.
Recovery of Data
Yes TMQ Can recover data from Versions of C-plot later than Version 8A. If your customer or skipper has deleted all the user files, or your customer has lost them, we can recover all track data of where the vessel has been. Please contact TMQ.
I have user data on a disk. How do i copy it
If the data on the disk or Memorystick is in the Root folder of the device, then you can use the TMQ Data copy manager. Select the source as the device, and then select the data you wish to copy. If you user has been smart and put the data into a folder. Then you have to be equally as smart and actually copy this data to the c:cplot95 mqchartuser Directory using windows Explorer. Using the Copy and paste commands. You can then manage this data and add it to the current view.
Using Windows Explorer. Well, Click on My computer in the start menu, this will bring up a list of places where data is stored. (C:) is normally the local disk. (D:) is normally a DVD-RAM drive. (which may come up as the filename when a disk is inserted. Devices E: and onwards are those magical memory sticks you have put in.
Find the data the customer wishes to move. Normaly identified by the interesting names the customer has called it. If the customer cannot remember, search for *.usr, *.mrk, *.trk. Select the files with a Left click on the mouse. Right click on the selected files and select copy.
Easiest to do now is to go Start, Run, C:cplot95/tmqchart/user Press OK. this will open an explorer page right up inside the user folder. Right click in a blank space on the right hand side and select Paste. Hey presto, the data should be getting copied.
I have an Early Version TMQ Autopilot and it Alarms out when i try to do a Goto / Route
Earlier Versions of Autopilot require 2 Decimal places on the XTE. Please open up the C:/cplot95/exe/Cplot95.ini Configuration Settings File and Find XTEDecPlacesNum=3 and ensure that you change this to 2.
I have a Really Early Version TMQ Autopilot and it Alarms out when i try to do a Goto / Route
TMQ AP4 404 Version Autopilots require from Version 1.2.4 R2 Cplot. This has an option to output data specially to a TMQ AP404 Autopilot in the System / Config Window. You will also need to modify the XTEDecPlacesnum in the Cplot95 ini file to get it to accept the Cross Track Error.
